Yaaaay, Agent Carter's back and it's awesome!

Jarvis vs. the flamingo is EVERYTHING. And Jarvis is feisty this season. I remember him being a bit less comedic last season.

I'm loving Wilkes, and I'm assuming we haven't actually seen the last of him. He's got guts, going after Peggy. There's chemistry there, too. I like having a scientist who kind of but not really knows how to handle himself being drawn into Peggy's world, because we get a newbie perspective to break up the wall of secret agents and someone who can explain the science to them and us.

I'm a little disappointed that Anna Jarvis being talked about but not seen is no longer a running gag, but I like her, so I guess I don't care.

I'm glad there was a scene with Jack talking with Old Powerful Dude Whose Name I Forget about the SSR being a wartime agency whose time is ending, which elaborates on the theme of veterans finding their place back at home that was central to last season. That's smart. I also liked Jack's "I want to be in the muck." Maybe he wants to be a muckety-muck, maybe he wants to be out there doing stuff and getting dirty rather than supervising and taking credit he doesn't deserve. (I can't help myself, I want to rehabilitate him.)

What on earth is going on with this revisionist history that Carter and Sousa ever had anything remotely approaching a thing? Because the way I read last season, he had a crush on her, she let him down gently, the end. There was just no there there, either overtly or in terms of chemistry between the actors, and are we now supposed to believe there was, and Carter's sad and Sousa's conflicted and going to eventually have to choose between her and his new almost-fiancee? Because I am just not buying that. Hopefully they drop it now that they've introduced the idea of Carter/Wilkes.

The actress wife of the bad guy (Whitney Frost, is that her name?) is so a Dottie-like Russian operative who is eventually going to kill her husband. You read it here first.

I'm loving all the opportunity to see Art Deco LA architecture! The Griffith Observatory! Fabulous other buildings! Yes!
