Welcome to the fandom! We have lots of fic. Also residual bitterness. We have a lot of that, too.

I feel bad for the actors, who are not only acting behind several pounds of latex, but doing it in a conlang.

Saaaaaaaaaaame. It gets better (especially at times when the Klingons are allowed to speak in English!), but it's always frustrating. There's a goddamned (and gorgeous) Juilliard graduate under one of those piles of latex, ffs. The character is a psycho, but I'm slightly in love with the actress.

(Also, from certain angles, they look a lot like the Narn and I keep half-expecting G'Kar to start speaking, which is giving me cognitive dissonance.)

Anyway, I am glad you watched a bit, sorry you're disappointed, and also... I don't know. I love it in spite of its faults. Which sometimes make me want to bang my head against things, but then there are episodes where I'm alternately crowing with delight and biting my knuckles in terror. I won't say I've ever forgiven them for killing off Michelle Yeoh's character, because I haven't. But I have developed a lot of fondness for everyone else. ♥
