I've been spending what feels like most of my time reading all the news about COVID. (I discovered Reddit, which has honestly been kind of bad for me. I only lurk, but it's enough of a firehose that it just sucks my time.) In between, I seem to be trying to read all of Wikipedia, and I'm going through my library's ebooks at a good clip. So far this is the first week I've returned to old favorites. Think I might spend more time on them.
Conspiracy theoryesque as it is, I wouldn't be shocked to find that deep in their cold, black hearts, certain people are happy the virus is killing off old people so they don't use Medicare/Social Security. They're going to be surprised when a metric shit-ton of people wind up filing for long-term disability from this thing.
