It may also be that I'm closer to the border and used to hear Canadian accents on tv a lot. I can't help but laugh every time Lisa Ryder speaks on FK. Thickest Canadian accent ever.
Maybe she's like me, and takes on the accent of anyone she's speaking with.
That may also be true. I'd love to find out why some people keep their accents and others pick up accents so easily.
