Hmmm, you're right. Was it long enough that some of it was still sticking out of the ground even at its deepest point? Then it would be passing by fast enough not to overheat, I suppose, although that wouldn't help when they stopped. Never mind. Yeah, it should've been burning up.
We're due to get a lot of snow, 6+ inches, on Tusday. Might be a good day to work from home. Hope you don't have to slug through the snow tomorrow.
Thanks. I slogged through slush--the sidewalks were mostly shoveled. Middle Path was slightly less shoved, but at least it wans't icy.
