Regular summer cicadas are all over the place, I think. These are special, sex-crazed cicadas that come out in May and die in early June. The thirteen-year ones are a southeastern specialty, while the seventeen-year ones are more a midwest thing that overlaps intot eh South. Right through TN, of course. *sigh*
