I definitely got a CEIA vibe during the pilot, with the sequence where Jaye gets passed over for the assistnat manager-ship. The close-ups of Peggy's teeth and the "loser" echoing as they cut off hte flashback and went back to reality sort of screamed it. It's sort of like Clarissa grows up and turns into Daria Morgendorffer, then moves to Niagra Falls. *g*
