TV and choir music. Mmmm.
Mar. 27th, 2004 10:27 pmKate and I watched my tape of Wonderfalls tonight. Hee.
Aww, Jaye and Eric are cute, even if she is crazy and he's Rebound!Boy. The ending was v. cute. I liked how this week the penguin's message was more cryptic than last week's, where I figured out that Jaye was gonna write the article by the half-hour mark. This one was a surprise until the daughter was mentioned. And LMAO at Karen, Darrin and Sharon trying to "force Jaye away from the Catholic Church" and back to the loving arms of Presbyterianism. The lion, monkey and chameleon all singing "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall" at the beginning was freaking HILARIOUS. I want my own smooshed-face lion. Well, as long as he doesn't keep me up nights singing.
I'm looking forward to seeing more people's reactions when Jaye tells them that innanimate objects speak to her. Mwahahaha.
And dude! They're moving it to Thursdays! Their target demographic might actually be home that night! Wonderfalls might not die! WHEEEEEEEEE!!!
Um. Yes. This makes me happy. Like you couldn't tell. ;)
Went to the Chamber Singers' home concert afterwards. Fun times. Hee, they did the Dubula song that we all did last semester, as well as the pretty Latin one that is fabulous for first sopranos 'cause basically all we do is stay on a high G the whole time. Plus, y'know, a whole bunch of other cool/pretty songs, and of course the usual Kokosing Farewell, which is one of the prettiest school songs I've ever heard.
(N.B. for those who've friended me this past semester: I'm not a fully-fledged choir geek, but I'm still a decently-fledged fairly-high-ranged first sorprano choir geek. Note the icon. My range tops out about three notes above that one. Hehehe.)
