I have no clue if they even make this program anymore, but when my gramma and my grade school all used mac computers (waaaay back in the early 90s), we used Clairs Works. It was a multi-tasking program where, if i remember correctally, you had a word processing program and a paint program and as far as I can remember, it worked pretty good. At least the paint program did, since that's the only one I remember using, though I'm sure I used the word processing part too. I think Clairs Works was built spacifically for Mac systems, so if you can find it, it might be worth a try.
And yes, I am just reading this. I've been rather behind on LJ these past few weeks for simular reasons as I imagine you're expieriencing (or experienced) and I've made it up to May 6th! Go me! Only another 400 or so more posts to go! :) Also, best of luck with your school stuff, even though I'm sure you're already home. In which case, best of luck with the final grades. I have one more test tomorrow (the 18) and then I'm freeee! And yes, i am quite ready for summer. :)
