As I mentioned earlier, finding good SG fic is hard. However, well-written Sam/Jack angst? Two authors for ya: Sally Reeve and Noda. From Sally, read absolutely anything but start with "Something Worth Hiding," "Out of Time," and the "Line" trilogy. All bittersweet angsty-type stuff, although the first is more sweet than the others. "How Could I Not?" from Noda is one of my very favorite SG stories. It was one of the first I read, and I've found very little to match up to it. It's gorgeous.
Also, for a sad, beautiful little vignette, try "The Retreat," by Laura H., at Heliopolis. It's shippy, but more concerned with description. I've read it twice and cried both times.
Now, my angst thing, on the other hand...I'll post it, but I think it sucks, so read those other ones first before you use mine to sell you on Sam/Jack. ;)
