He does sound a lot like Billy, doesn't he? I was wondering why he sounded so familier. :) I might steal that name for him in future references.

It took me a few minutes, but then I shouted, "he sounds like a hobbit!" Heh. I stole "Dr. Pippin" from Gateworld forums. It's a fabulous moniker.

But it was a pretty painting! (yeah, so I like ancient-type stuff... and if it has trees growing on top of it, it's gotta be pretty old. :) )

It does look old, and it was pretty, but it resembled the production art a little too much for my tastes. (I'm a consistency whore when it comes to art direction. Everything else looked CGI or real. That was the only thing that had a fuzzy, matte quality about it. It bothered me. ;))

Yeah, I would be kinda hesitant about trying any kinda ship too if I got that kind of negative reaction. I have nothing against Pete, but apperently I'm in the minority... I would prefer if it was Jack, but I won't hold that little detail against Pete. :)

I think Pete's a jerk and Sam would be a fool to end up with him in any sort of serious, long-term capacity, but I see the dramatic possibilities with his character, even if it pains the S/J shipper within me to see him.

And YAY S/W UST! I did a little internal squee when Weir took him aside to talk about the rescue mission alone... a squee which kinda took me by surprise actually since I went into the episode not really thinking I would ship anyone. :)

Yep! I figured from the Lowdown that I would be shipping them (I'm a sucker for prickly UST that's restrained by the fact that people work together and it's not entirely cool for them to just go at each other like bunnies), and I definitely did a little shippy sigh at that scene. Wheee, sparks!
