From reports on another board I go to, it looks like every cable/satellite configuration had the same issues, so it must have been a problem on Skiffy's end.

First viewing of Atlantis, and it's pretty good... something to watch on Friday nights, which is always a plus.

OH, yeah. Mmm-hmm. Very easy on the eyes, he is. Character's name is John Sheppard (what is it with naming characters John??!), actor's is Joe Flanigan.

and the little twerp is amusing.

I was so not looking forward to seeing more of him after his three SG-1 eps, but he's being written as way funnier, so yay.

The guns expert, I don't understand why anyone would name their kid 'Rainbow Sun' - did he change his name or were his parents especially cruel and wanted him to be tortured as a child?

I think it was his parents, but I'm not sure. If they did name him that, I hope he came up with a nickname real quick, or else he so would've got beaten up on the playground...
