SG-1 was incredibly lame, but I don't know how much of that is my own bias (Daniel Jackson is my least favorite character).
I used to like him a lot, back when he was such a big geek. (And had the floppy hair. Oh, how I miss the floppy hair.) Then he quit being so geeky and got into this "I am the moral center of the show, hear me roar!" thing that's just distasteful.
I loved Atlantis this week. I'm not so hot on the Shep/Teyla either (though now I get why she likes him so much). It looks like they are setting up that ship, but it does nothing for me at all.
I hope TPTB realize that the chemistry isn't working, but that the two characters could become close friends. I actually would like to see that, but forced ship? Ick. (Although I remember reading that the Atlantis PTB were so burned out by the response to Sam/Pete that they declared a moratorium on ship for Atlantis, so... *shrug*)
On the other hand, I was seeing the possibilities for Weir/Teyla.
I hope someone eventually fics some kind of girly moment between them as either sillyfic or parody. It would be too amusing.
I'm still all about Sheppard/McKay, though Sheppard/Weir has potential too. I am slashing pretty much all of the male characters. Lots of slashy potential on Atlantis.
At this point, you could sort of pair them all any way you wanted to go...
