I think I may have just talked myself into writing it, too, as long as I can torture McKay by making him babysit. Dammit.
Rodney made the episode watchable. It was okay but only in terms of a "filler" between the great episodes kind of way.
Yeah. I'm willing to cut this one slack as it's still the first season, and even if it showed up in season two, I don't think I'd be too upset, but if this is the usual level of quality by the time season three rolls around, I'll be outta here.
And where in the hell was Weir?! Dang. Let's NOT start leaving most of Atlantis out of the show, kthxsby.
I was wondering how having the has-to-stay-home character as one of the leads was going to work. I'd hoped for increased focus on the city, but so far, that hasn't really been the case. Hopefully later episodes will use her more.
Ford is eval! Hook the kids on chocolate, leave them with a bag of it and take off so they'll never ever have it again.
Yeah! He could've at least given them a cocao (sp?) bean or seedling or something.
And yes, yes it did kick SGwun's ass. God, can SG get anymore boring and rehashed?!
I have hope that by mid-season it'll be better, assuming it follows the same trajectory as last season. At the moment, it's only something to do in that last hour of anticipation before Atlantis comes on.
