icepixieHappy fluffy fic! Yay! Now I just need to finish the damn thing...it tried to mutate and become angsty, but I'm not letting it, 'cause in the context of the piece, angst is just...odd. And then it tried to divide itself into two stories, but now it's back to one and almsot done. Hallelujah!

A few notes before beginning: "involved" in fandom can mean a lot to different people. To me, the lowest level of "involvement" is reading fic and/or visitng more than one webpage about a fandom. From there on, the levels go roughly in order of writing fic, joining a mailing list/posting to a BBS, making a webpage, and finally going to a convention.
1. What was the very first fandom you got involved in?
Star Trek: The Next Generation. 1995. I was eleven.
2. What is the most recent fandom to catch your interest?
Hmmm...I suppose technically that would have to be JAG, although the one right before that was Stargate, and I've gotten way more into that one.
3. Fandom you've stayed loyal to the longest?
Technically TNG, but only 'cause I still watch the movies. Don't really read fic anymore, so by my scale above, it's actually Deep Space 9. Let's see, that would've been '96, but I'm not exactly sure when, so let's say around seven years. Aww, it was the first fandom I wrote fic for...my ultra-crappy twelve-year-old Julian/Jadzia poems that have *cough* mysteriously vanished off the face of the earth...
4. Fandom(s) you're most passionate about?
Farscape, definitely. Still DS9, actually, for the J/J stuff. Stargate, even though I haven't joined any lists 'cause the last thing I need is more e-mail. Oh, and Northern Exposure, even though the fandom is teeny-tiny.
5. Fandom(s) you wish you could get into, but can't?
Apparently a lot of people go ga-ga over this Buffy and Angel thing, but I just can't get it. Tried watching episodes, but couldn't really see the appeal. It's odd, 'cause one of my other favourite shows is Forever Knight, which is also about vampires.
6. Fandoms you're curious about, but never had the chance to get into?
If I'm curious about 'em, I try 'em.
7. Fandom that's been the most fun to be involved in?
Farscape, by far. ScaperCon is one of the highlights of my year. A good number of Farscape-Shippers list members are some of my very best friends.
8. Fandom that's been the least fun to be involved in?
JAG is definitely the hardest to find good fic for. Well, except for NX, but that's because there just isn't any fic out there.
9. Fandom you're ashamed to admit you were involved in?
None, actually. There's merit to all of the fandoms on my list.
10. Are you looking for a new fandom, or actively avoiding getting sucked into something new?
DEAR GOD, NO!!! I do not have time for a new fandom! Nononononono! Save meeeeeee!!! *runs off screaming*
Anyway, back to fluffy, funny-ish fic. Happy, dammit. Happyhappyhappy.
