Is it just me, or are the uniforms reminiscent of WWII, specifically the losing side?
Another episode earlier had me thinking losing side of WWII with the uniforms. I don't know if it's on purpose or not.
You don't want to be their enemy...uh, remember, John, you're pathetic. You're about to go on rations. Not that you want to be friends with these people, but just sayin'.
Wouldn't it be easier to not let them in on the fact that you actually really need the food? Lizzie needs to do the negotiating. "So, um, hi. We want to trade with you, but because I suck at trading, do you mind coming with me through this big round thing to a strange world full of people you don't know or trust so you can negotiate with my boss?"

I love all the snark. These scripts are fun.
