I signed up to write a profile of Tennessee for non-American fanfic writers at

drop_the_u. It's more difficult than I expected--I'm trying to explain something that might be pertinent to someone setting a fic in TN, but to really explain it, I keep trying to go into a lot of historical detail that's probably really boring, and is also making this thing about five pages long already, and I'm not done yet... Meep. Ah, well. That's what revising's for, right?
