D'oh! Okay. Do all of your electrical cords have three prongs, or do some just have two? The Radio Shack I went to had little caps for my converter to make it work with the wall, but they only had two prongs and looked a lot like any of the plugs we have here. (There are three holes in the sockets, but the only things we own that has three prongs on its cord are the vacuum cleaner, stove, and refrigerator.) Plus, the guy helping me said that he was Egyptian, used the same plugs y'all do, and that this would work by itself. Grrr.
