That complete redesign of half my site that I've been talking about for a while? Nearly done! I've uploaded the first two thirds (the fanfic and art redesign). The shipper part will be up by July 1. I don't have a whole lot left to do, but we're leaving for Gulf Shores on Monday, and probably not getting back until late Thursday, so I won't have as much time to work on it as it looks like.

*does the happy dance*

And now I'm off to see if I can get this collage to work. I'm doing an S/J wallpaper with images from "Solitudes" that has a lot of winter poetry overlaid on it, but the problem is that the background is very, very white and snowy, while all the images of them are very dark. Makes blending difficult. Also, there's not much in the way of interesting textures in my background that can show through party-transparent foreground images. But I'll think of something...

"Solitudes" collage, because I found the perfect poem for that episode. Kind of an experimental piece; it's not the kind of thing I usually do. Poetry used is by Emily Dickinson ("Two Travellers perishing the Snow," "The Snow"), Robert Frost ("Stopping in the woods on a snowy evening"), and Archibald Lampman ("Snow").

Mom got me HP5 at Target for $16 tonight. Still haven't opened it; it's gonna be car-reading for the trip on Monday. I'm still in a state of shock at how freakin' big it is. I thought GOF was long!

I can't really get in an HP mood. I was all set to wait until it got to library and not read it until...well, let's face it, probably next summer, since I think if I'd wanted to get it this summer I probably would've had to put a hold on it in, oh, January. So I'm still in my not-very-excited, "oh, I'll read it whenever" mindset. (Okay, to be brutally honest? While I liked the first four books quite a bit, there are books that I like much, much more. I don't think I'll ever be a fanatic, even though Hermione is my literary twin.)

And the entirety of a Daniel/Janet drabble just came into my head while I was in the shower, but I can't get it down the right way on paper. So annoying... *sigh*
