My fingers have sort of a reddish-purple tinge to them now. We have two blackberry bushes (and I use that in the loosest sense of the term--these things are tiny), and I picked the ripe ones for the daughter of one of our neighbors to make a pie. Well, okay, maybe a blackberry cupcake. There aren't that many. There's still more than bushes that size have any right to produce, though. (Seriously, where do they all come from?!)
