The worst weather EVER is occurring outside right now. See, there's still about four inches of snow outside, all covered by an icy layer. Paths, such as the ever-popular Middle Path, were basically ice rinks. And now it's about 35 degrees and raining. Good GOD, it's disgusting. The paths are slushy, which for now is better than icy, but they're going to ice over so completely tomorrow that they will be unusable. Same for the roads. At the moment, all the clear surfaces are iced over. I came out of Ascension at 9:30, and the stoop was a solid block of ice. So, so thankful I noticed that and could hold onto the door handle as I slid around before jumping off into a nearby snowbank.
And the trees are covered in ice. Every little twig is twice its diameter now because of ice, and it looks exactly like the ice storm that paralysed Nashville for three weeks the February I was nine. (Seriously, no school for three weeks. The first two was because the roads were impassable, and the third was because NES still hadn't gotten power back to half the schools.)
I already know of two people with back injuries because of falling on the ice. There's seriously gonna be broken bones tomorrow.
