Say, Buffy fans, especially cybermathwitch, have you seen this about an academic conference (papers and everything) on BtVS being held next month in Nashville? Looks sort of like MTSU's English department and MTSU in general are supporting it.

So Klebes said that I can use my presentation topic as my paper topic. Woot! This takes off several hours of work from my week. Of course, said topic also requires re-reading large chunks, it not all, of Hamlet before writing the paper, but hey, that one's actually pretty satisfying--they all DIE, like they SHOULD, because they're IDIOTS. Heh.

Aaaaand I think I figured out a way to get my history paper moving, instead of having it sit on page seven and mock me. And then I'm going to edit it to within an inch of its life, 'cause the quote in the subject line? Verbatim, baby. Ugh.

I swear, one day I will actually talk about something besides my various class projects. Really. Sixteen days until I go hooooooooome...

We've officially hit the point of the paper where I've run out of steam two pages from the end and am reduced to sitting around begging Clio (muse of history) for inspiration.

So I procrastinated for a few minutes by taking the pitch test, as pointed to by alorarose. Got all 26 correct. Guess eight years of choir and three of guitar paid off in some way. ;)

*sigh* Back to staring at the blinking cursor and waiting for inspiration to run me over in a Mack truck.
