Um, yes. Happy Bloomsday, everyone, even though IMO Ulysses is crap (says she who has read roughly ten chapters scattered through the book). I could get behind a day for Portrait of the Artist, but not so much for this one.

Anyway.

I have the envelope filled with everything for my visa--just have to send it off and hope nothing goes wrong with it. It certainly was enough hassle getting it together.

In other news, again with the saving of a spot on the bus to hell. I've joined (or, rather, applied to join) a Dumbledore/McGonagall list. Geriatric!love, wheee! There are significantly more D/M fics out there since the last itme I looked, which was around this time last year, I think. There's an entire archive devoted to it. Some of the fics are a little...out there...but some are pretty good.

And finally, I'm beginning to realize exactly how bad this Pensacola show is. Yes, A.J., you can get shot in the stomach and thrown out of a helicopter into the open ocean, yet still manage to swim to shore, disable baddies, and seem to barely have a scratch on you the next day. Wow, I knew salt water made cuts stop bleeding, but that's awfully unbelieveable. *rolls eyes* Obviously, this guy has superpowers that no one's mentioned.

And yet, sometimes they have subtext that actually works, or A.J. and Annalisa are particularly cute, so I keep watching... *sigh*

Just as I get used to/start liking American yogurt, I'm about to head over to Europe, where apparently it's quite different. Le sigh. But Yoplait Boston Cream Pie is fab, and Kroger's Apple Danish is a near-exact replica of the dearly-departed-at-least-from-Ohio-and-Tennessee Dannon Apple Cinnamon Fruit on the Bottom stuff. (Well, it is for vacations, anyway, since there's no Kroger in Gambier where I can get the Kroger brand.) Gotta recommend against anything with Oreo chips you mix in, though. Mouth is all, "Oooh, crunchy chocolate cookie! And those always come with that nice vanilla cream fill--what the &#$% is this?!" when it hits the not-very-well-flavored yogurt.

Anyway. Mmmm, bacteria! Tasty!
