You know school has started again when, even though you're not on the allstu list by virtue of going abroad this year, you still get e-mail in your Kenyon account all the damn time. (Students have gotten crafty and now often use the class year lists instead of the allstu. Sigh.)

*checks calendar* Yep, the upperclasspeople have started moving back in today. Well, those who weren't there already, anyway. *waves at

laserhead* Part of me is insisting that I really ought to be in Ohio right now, setting up my room, running around campus and ~~bothering~~ welcoming back ballroomers, collapsing exhausted on a couch somewhere at the end of the day and watching some silly movie with Pezzers...I think that part of me is the same piece responsible for the crazy dreams last night about United losing my luggage in England. Which--given that as soon as I'm done with customs, I'm immediately going to hop a bus and travel three hours away--would suck a whole, whole lot.

It's hard to believe it's almost September.

I think I've pimped this site before, but anyone who does digital art stuff should check out stock.xchng. Hundreds of thousands of free stock photos for use in both personal and commercial projects on every subject imaginable, many of them extraordinarily beautiful. Check out a guy called mammuth; lots of incredible compositions done with long exposures, and some breathtaking shots of foggy days.

*goes back to wallpaper and icons...yes, I'm a Photoshop addict. Shut up.*
