So we're going to see a ballet next semester in London. Specifically, I think we're seeing either Manon or Swan Lake, or possibly both, because the cheap seats are actually not astronomical like I thought they would be and we get reimbursed (up to a point) for any cultural activity we do on the London trips. And both the performances we'd be seeing have Darcey Bussell dancing the lead! OMG! Eeeee! I know zilch about famous ballet dancers and ballet companies and such (although I remember a fair few of the steps from innumerable dance classes), and I've heard of this woman. She's apparently amazing. Wheeeee!
Also, I have finished all my Christmas cards, so ( these people ) should all be getting mail within a week and a half (well, assuming I get to the post office on Monday, anyway). I have several more that I'd like to use, so if you want one, don't be shy, step right up and e-mail your address to author1 [at] comcast [dot] net.
Now I really ought to do some work today...
