Finally, after a whole week, they figure out there's free food on my window ledge!

I have a collection of three or four each of chickadees, tufted titmice, and whatever that in the photo is (some kind of nuthatch?). Ah, Wal-Mart mixed birdseed.

In case you were wondering, birdseed on the window ledge makes excellent Cat TV.

And yes, we have a cat. Sort of. It's more that he comes inside for a few hours a day and gets some food, and has been doing so since Monday. But since we're unsure of his litter training, he gets put out at nights and when we're not here. So technically we are not "keeping" him, but merely having him visit. *sharpens hair-splitting knife* At least two other apartments around here are doing the same, from what I understand.

His name is Gilbert. Hopefully someone down at the barn will want him, as he's starting to make me sneeze...
