Really, I ought to stay away from Wikipedia and OG and

dwcanon_fodder and places like that where they discuss Old Skool Who Canon.

Let me recreate my general thought process from occasional bits of the past few weeks for you:

Regeneration, got that months ago...Ace looks like she was a fun companion, blowing stuff up all the time...Gallifrey = full of boring old farts, okay...is that celery pinned to Five's lapel?...Sixth Doc bears an astonishing resemblance to Dominic Mognahan-as-Merry-in-LOTR; it must be the curly blond hair...the Doctor was ~~woven~~ born from a genetic loom...Romana was a--

...Loom?

That's either one of the coolest things ever or really, really disturbing. Jury's still out on which. (And yes, I know it's book!canon and not TV!canon and therefore is considered inferior.)

Speaking of time travel, the temporal logic I'm trying to keep straight in my story for Fiction is starting to get the better of me. Gah. I think I might need to excise a section, which is irksome, particularly as I can't decide which of the conflicting sections I like better. *pouts*
