Crime and medical procedurals are two of my least favorite forms of television. Okay, Big Brother and such are worse, but procedurals? Not really my cup of tea.^[1]

That said, I watched CSI:NY last night. (Tell me I'm not the only one who consistently misreads that as CSNY, aka Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. And I don't think I've ever even heard their music.) I can't imagine why that franchise gets so many viewers, and then makes the kids want to go into forensics. *rolls eyes* Was that especially gratuitous, or do they usually do that?

I was watching because

wildtiger7's LJ banner made Danny and Lindsay look so freakin' adorable that I couldn't help myself. And while there wasn't much cuteness in this episode, I can see the potential. I'm debating whether I want to actually watch more of this show, or just keep an eye out for squee and then look up clips and caps and stuff. Hmmm.

Anyway, after one episode, ( I am placing a bet on what Lindsay's Deep Dark Secret is. )

^[1] Although I did watch quite a bit of Law & Order during middle school. But that was more a function of wanting to stay up late watching TV with my dad than it was actually liking it that much.
