"A rare metrically faulty line which requires head to be disyllabic, or three stresses on presented, which only intensfies the ugly internal echo. Spenser may have been distracted by wondering how Calidore could decapitate a tiger with a shepherd's crook."

(We're almost done with it! This week is the last week of FQ! Then we move on to A View of the Present State of Ireland and finally Shakespearian histories for the rest of the semester! Yaaaaay!)
