So I have found that Bones is not good to marathon, because the endless cycle of skeleton-labwork-murder investigation-catching the criminal is, well, endless, and it all runs together after a bit. (I did appreciate the one that was focused on the trial rather than the investigating. It was a nice change.) The character bits are good, but I am not a fan of procedurals, and the character bits are starting to not quite make up for said procedural aspect, at least in marathon form.

Speaking of character bits, and misuse thereof, the Christmas episode was so shamelessly sentimental it made my teeth ache. On the upside, it did serve to make Zack the robot (who actually made a robot. How appropriate) seem at least a tiny bit human.

I really, really want to like Angela, because she's kind of funny and is the hermeneutic figure between the scientists and the real world (forgive the English jargon; I've been reading articles on Prince Hal recently), but her lines all sound completely scripted, and the actress sounds like she's appearing in a high school play.

Anyway. Productivity. Yeeeesss... (I think I decided what I'm going to compare for my American Lit essay. I hope. I'm not really looking forward to writing it...)
