Grrr. Frederic Jameson is a slippery little bastard. Every time I think I understand the concept of cognitive mapping, I read something else about it that puts in a new wrinkle I have to smooth out.

Having an accountability buddy (*waves* at

bessemerprocess) has helped my productivity, though. Yesterday I set myself a goal of having two more pages written by tomorrow at noon, and so far I've written 1.25 pages. Progress!
