It never fails: Give me a paper or chapter to write, and out comes the fic. Granted, rarely does it make it up here, but it's still the best cure for writer's block I know.

The first halves of these have been kicking around my hard drive for two years or so, but apparently only now did I have the impetus to finish them.

He was a wonderful dancer. Of course he was; it was such an old-fashioned skill, Fraser was bound to be good at it. )

I almost understand some tiny little bits of what Jameson is doing with historicity! If I work hard, I may be able to decipher complete sentences instead of just scattered clauses!

(Oh, God, why do I put myself through this? Why?)

This historicity thing seems...remarkably similar to what my limited understanding tells me deconstruction is. Hmm. Depending on how many disclaimers I'll need to pile on (i.e., whatever isn't covered by the "I'm ignoring every single Marxist implication of this theory" I have in there already), this could potentially go some interesting places.

What has happened to me?
