I watched Castle on an actual TV tonight, and...you know, I don't think I've seen a television advertisement in roughly a year--not since last spring.* I'd forgotten not only how inane they are, but how much they interrupt the flow of the episode. I kept thinking days had passed over each commercial break, and then one of the characters would mention something about how it had only been so many hours or a day or whatever since the victim was killed, and I had a moment of cognitive dissonance.

I can't imagine that the one thing I have to say the episode will spoil anyone for anything, but just in case, here's a ( spoiler cut )

* Heck, I had to get my dad to show me how to work the fancy new digital cable remotes. One of them has glow-in-the-dark buttons, which I find terribly awesome.
