Yay! Karine Polwart's new album is out in mp3 format!

But woe! "We could not process your order because of geographical restrictions on the product which you were attempting to purchase"! Nooooooo! Oh, evil tyranny of geography! Or more accurately, of outmoded twentieth century music rights laws!

Apparently my options are 1) buy the physical CD as an import through the US Amazon site for $30+, 2) buy the physical CD through the UK Amazon site for the equivalent of $20, including shipping, but paying god knows how much in duty and waiting god knows how long for it to clear customs, or 3) waiting until it finally makes it on to iTunes or similar for the usual $10.

Woe. WOE.

(I know, I know, many of you who don't live in the US are like, "Psht, welcome to my world," but...WOE!)
