In case of emergency, break plastic.
Oct. 23rd, 2014 08:20 pmYou know you've had entirely too many health issues in a month when you go into your not-that-tiny pharmacy to pick up yet another prescription and one of the techs recognizes you on sight.
In other news, I am now the owner of an epi pen. Apparently this is the prize you get when you have three systemic reactions to your allergy shots, especially if they happen well after leaving the shot room. Yay. (Oh, did I mention I had a third reaction last week? It kind of got lost in the midst of all my other health problems this month. Which is, frankly, a little horrifying.) I've also been dropped down a few doses, but if I can just make it through the next six, I'll be at the maintenance dose and unlikely to have any more reactions. Please, body, just let this go right after all that's gone wrong this month...
