2014, can you give it a rest???
On the bright side, they were supposed to call me when the boots and blades came in and then take my credit card number, so at least I'm only out time and not money. Whew. That could've been very bad. And they got back to me almost immediately when I sent them an email asking whether my order had come in and they were expecting to send it on to me (I assumed not, but didn't want to be surprised). Of course, I'm not thrilled that I had to find out about their closure via Facebook, of all things, but whatever.
At least I was able to get fitted before they closed, and I know exactly what I need, so I can just order online. And I wasn't planning to transition to the new skates until after the show, or perhaps even after the test session in January, anyway. This all could've been much worse.
