Well, Exeter isn't exactly a country town... ;) Although it's quite a bit smaller than Nashville. I think it has a population of baout 100,000. Still, that's better than the 500 people that Gambier boasts when the college isn't in session...

The cathedral's grounds (very small) are just about the only green space in the city center of Exeter, and I don't remember a hotel anywhere near that. Maybe you didn't visit here. All the more reason to come visit me! ;)
