I weep, weep, I tell you, at the state of Exeter's library. They have, like, five books on Henry V, all but one of which are checked out until December. (I haven't checked Temporary Reserve yet, but I think there's only six there, perhaps two of which might have something relevant to one of the two topics I'm choosing between.) FIVE. On HENRY THE FIFTH. And they don't really have a concept of interlibrary loan, as far as I can tell--you can search the "Combined Univerisites in Cornwall" catalogue, but there's no option to request anything. I think I'll be visiting the helpful enquiries desk tomorrow, because--dude. No. That's just cruel, to taunt us that way without giving us a way to get at these books.

JSTOR has been a godsend, giving me about fifteen articles that could be useful for this essay. The MLA index has been even more than usually useless; Exeter apparently subscribes to none of the journals with articles indexed there, either in print or online forms. And as far as I can tell, there's no way to request copies of the articles, like with ILL at Kenyon. Another thing to ask tomorrow, I suppose.

You have no idea how much I'm pining for Consort and OhioLink right now.
