More library angst
Oct. 27th, 2004 01:39 pmSo I found out how to do ILL at Exeter. The only problem is that it costs £6.50 per book or photocopied article.
I begin to see where all that tuition money Kenyon charges goes... (And to vastly prefer it, 'cause hey, scholarship instead of out-of-pocket!)
Also, not all of their books and journal articles are indexed in the online catalogue. On the one hand, this is sort of nice, because then I can browse their one row of Shakespeare works (yes, one row...less than there is at Kenyon...) and be pleasantly surprised when something I can use turns up. On the other hand...they don't have everything indexed in the catalogue. *bangs head against the wall repeatedly*
I swear, I'm trying to keep in mind that this university doesn't have nearly the funding that Kenyon does, and that they serve ten times as many students, but it's hard.
One day I will talk about something fannish in here again. Probably that day will be whenever I see the Farscape mini.
