Maybe it tried to fly before it was ready?

Yeah.. I think that's what happened.. or maybe his brothers and sisters didn't like him and tossed him out!! - but I'm being paranoid... he probably tried to fly too early, then hopped over to our driveway.. poor thing.

I think our dead bird curse is more because Cricket likes to kill things, though, so you're probably safe. ;)

Oh okay... our dog doesn't kill things... thankfully. If he did kill anything it'd be cause he was barking at them to death. Gah... Beagles.
