I got the final book in Philip Pullman's trilogy after having blazed through the first and second ones earlier this month. Good stuff, but it's getting so weird.

The His Dark Materials triology? I've read that, and I highly enjoyed the first book (though I consider it one of the most desturbing things I have ever read) but I didn't enjoy the other two as much.
