I got the final book in Philip Pullman's trilogy after having blazed through the first and second ones earlier this month. Good stuff, but it's getting weird.
::nods:: They get very weird, though I still enjoyed reading them. Only thing i didn't enjoy? Reading the first one when it first came out only to discover that there was a second one... which didn't come out for another year or two. And then, when it finally *did* come out, discovering there was a third one that took an additional 4 or 5 years or come out (or at least is seemed that long), when both the first book and the second book ended in cliffhangers. Was much with the suckiness.
Have thought about picking up the paperbacks and rereading all three since then, but I haven't decided if I wanna go through some of the weirder stuff in there again...
