I have read about this town (whose name escapes me)

It's called Hay-on-Wye in the guidebook. I'm thinking of combining it with Cardiff, 'cause they're sort of close.

Do you remember how easy it was to get around Snowdonia? Our plans for Cornwall are going to have to be amended because of reportedly-sucky public transportation, and I'm hoping the same won't be true for Snowdonia. If it's easy to get around by train and bus, I think we'll combine it with the Lake District over a week or two, if everyone's agreeable. We'll see.
