Um...haircutter shouldn't be saying this, but I didn't mean to take off that much. Hope it's okay.

It's more than okay, it's totally what I wanted. Now I don't have to get another haircut until July.

And now I have two sets of hairy tidbits floating about my room, which makes me feel vaguely as though I should be building a nest or something.
