Ah, Dover. We took the ferry across when I was there (the Chunnel wasn't done yet - hell, had they started it in '93??) and while we were waiting, the group I was traveling with had a discussion about whether or not the White Cliffs of Dover were one of the Natural Wonders of the World.

Wherein our Resident Idiot argued that they weren't natural.

*sigh* She was also the one who lost her passport somewhere between Paris and Amsterdam, but didn't bother mentioning it until we were ready to go back to London. She couldn't understand why everyone (especially the poor tour leader) thought it was such a big deal...
