does anyone else who reads David Weber's Honor Harrington novels get a strange kind of HH vibe from bits of this show?
It honestly hadn't occurred to me until you mentioned it, though if anything it actually brings back more memories of the old movie The Battle of Britain, where the British fighter controllers would be pushing around things on a large board to track German aircraft movements and British intercepts.
