Sci-Fi Friday, slightly delayed

icepixieElectricity went out this afternoon, shortly followed by the cable (because this isn't the only day of the week I watch television or anything), but at least they got it back up and running in time for the second showings of everything. All I missed was Firefly, and Netflix has those DVDs, so hey.
Much shorter than usual comments this week because I'm getting up early to go to the camera store and get a polarizing filter (correctly-exposed ground and sky in the same landscape shot! Unutterable joy!) and need to go to bed at some point...
SG-1
- SG-1 and Atlantis really brought the funny this week, SG-1 especially. Mostly because of Claudia Black, who is AWESOME. But we all knew that already.
- And Vala's still in pigtails, I see. Hee.

- Where have I seen Dr. Arlos before? Where? I think it was Farscape, but I can't remember. Argh! He was playing another slimy character much like this one...
- Claudia in leather pants again, woo!
- Reason #5,862 why Daniel should just get contacts already. Ouch.
Atlantis
- Paul McGillion's in the main credits, woot!
- "What do mean, 'with a woman'?" BWAH! Beckett/McKay OTP, oh yes, it is! HEE!
- Girls Poker Night. OMG. I WANT FIC.
- Aw, poor Carson. First you have to go offworld for no discernable reason, then your boyfriend gets stolen by vampires, then you get knocked over and covered in mulch by a Wratih dart. You're having a bad day.
- "Transformer bits."
- And Rodney's now a Trill.
- Heh, the shooting session is golden.
- *looks at Teyla's splits* Wish I could still do that. I could, if I stretched a bit...
- Lots of pretty new city shots in this one. I especially like the night shot.
- John and Elizabeth are SO CUTE OMG. Loved Elizabeth's quit-bothering-me-already "Yes." Ha!
- HEE! Someone needs to make screencaps of that!
BSG
No little points for this one, but just the big one: I much prefer this return to S1 form rather than the wheel-spinning the show seemed to be doing for the last few eps. Especially liked everything to do with Roslin, whom I come to love more with each episode. And dude, CALLY! OMG! *loves on everything in this ep*
Next week: There's a great camp meetin' in the promised land. Hoo boy.
