It feels like it's been a while since my last entry, even though it's been but two days. I've been holed up with books...though not my comps books, sadly enough. Just stuff from the library I want to read before I go back to school. I should be doing more comps reading, probably. But all I have left of my new, revised goal for summer is "The Rape of the Lock" (only ~20 pages) and Beowulf, which should take only about two weeks if I read ten pages a night. Easy, right? *watches Ellen and Sarah laugh at her*

I finally figured out how to work that dollmaker site that's so popular, and I've been playing for way too long at it. Soooo addictive.

Me in autumn. My hair's rather a lot shorter, more blonde/less reddish, and not quite that curly, but I didn't feel like searching through the 800+ hairstyles for an exact match, so there you have it. The eyes are a bit more bluey-green than that, too, but the glasses, the jeans, the sandals, and most importantly the purple shirt are all totally accurate. ;)

My doll in a nifty red dress that I would totally wear if I could a.) find one and b.) had an event worth wearing it for to go to.

I have started no less than six originals (all theoretically short stories, but some with the possibility of expansion) in the past week, but can't get more than three paragraphs into them. Argh. *cracks whip at Muse*

Last session of PT tomorrow! My knees are doing SO much better. They're still not exactly up to the kind of walking I did on most of our trips this year, but they don't hurt when I'm merely standing or walking around normally, and staircases aren't slow, pain-filled adventures anymore. I guess if I keep up the exercises I do at home, they should get even better. Woot!

For the record Beowulf doesn't take more than a few hours to read. Well, I suppose it might vary a bit depending on the translation but really it's a fast read. It'll probably need to be reread several times but it gets easier and faster every time. Good luck!
