Hey, we all have our tastes...I'm not quite getting Shep/Weir yet, so we're probably even. *Snerk* (Shep/McKay starts to make sense, though...)
Hehe. Just give it more time. Shep/Weir's inherent sexiness will eventually win you over. *eg* (Myself, I'm pushing more for Beckett/McKay that Shep/McKay, but whatever...)
And honestly I'm not sure how the movie will affect your view of them...the Mal/Inara shippy is there, but not as in the forefront as an ep like Shindig.
It might just lead me to say, "Yeah, whatever, let's move on," like the series did, then. Or maybe I'll find something about them to fall in love with. It looks like I'm going to be seeing it on the 7th, so I suppose we'll find out then!
*snip* Sounds like a 1930s romantic comedy to me!
Hmmm. I can almost see it, except that I can't. *g* My concept of 30s romantic comedy = screwball (i.e. Bringing Up Baby), and I don't see either Mal or Inara as screwballs, especially not Inara.
Maybe I'm just not widely experienced in these movies...
