I think it has to be a Whedon thing. It must.

(And the three times I've seen it in 3 different theaters, the sound was great, so that wasn't right!)

I thought it had something to do with this theatre. I'm sure I'll see it once it comes out on DVD, preferably with non-chipmunky sound.

And Mal and Inara might win you over yet. *g* C'mon, how can you not love their last conversation (and the subtleness of the writing, yay!)? ;?P

Um, subtle? *raises eyebrow* I'd go more with "anvilicious" as an adjective, but each to their own... (Forced 'ship bugs me beyond all reason.)
